On 16 March 2024, at Malyovitsa Resort Complex, we were proud to host the 30th Malyovitsa Cup 2024, part of the National Ski Mountaineering Championship (team event).

Ski mountaineering is a competition in which athletes (usually in pairs, for greater safety) travel on skis along a pre-prepared and marked mountain route. During the race there are several ascents and descents, as well as elements of alpine climbing (such as traversing a roped, protected rocky section). As the “cradle” of mountaineering in Bulgaria, the Malyovitsa valley is an excellent place to host this type of competition.

Group B (individual) – Malyovitsa Training Center – Second Terrace – BAK Shelter – Second Terrace – Elenino Lake – Malyovitsa Hut
Group C (individual) – Malyovitsa Training Center – Second Terrace – Malyovitsa Hut
