Ski and Snowboard Talents Gathered in Malyovitsa for the Samokov Cup, Malyovitsa Cup and Balkan Rookie Fest 2026
The Malyovitsa resort once again became a stage for strong emotions and sporting spirit, welcoming some of the most promising young athletes in winter sports. Over the course of two days, two national snowboard competitions — the Samokov Cup and the Malyovitsa Cup — were held alongside the international Balkan Rookie Fest 2026, part of the World Rookie Tour series.
Around 55 competitors took part each day, representing clubs such as Boroboard, Moten, OUTIPI, NSA, Snowboard Society, Sport Extreme, Vitosha Ski and Yulen. The atmosphere was filled with intense competition, dynamic runs and impressive performances from the rising talents of Bulgarian snowboarding.
Some of the winners received their awards from representatives of the Municipality of Samokov — Daniela Troharova, Head of the Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Activities Department, and senior expert Petya Zahova. They congratulated the athletes for their sporting spirit, discipline and motivation.

U13 Women: Zornitsa Sivilova (Boroboard)
U11 Women: Anastasia Komsalova (OUTIPI)
U9 Women: Beloslava Ahtapodova (Boroboard)
The event was organized jointly by SC Boroboard, Malyovitsa Resort and the Municipality of Samokov.
